Coenzyme Q10 belongs to the group of ubiquinones. The prefix "Ubi" indicates that this substance is present throughout the body. Certain organs, such as the heart, kidneys, liver, and muscles, have particularly high levels of Coenzyme Q10. The mitochondria of cells are responsible, among other things, for storing Q10. The body is capable of producing Coenzyme Q10 on its own and absorbing it through diet.
